Next, you want to prod the pedometer and make sure you walk at least 10,000 steps each day. Which will seem like a lot, but here are some ways that you will get additional steps.

5. Walk the dog. If you don't have a dog, volunteer to guide the neighbor's dog.

6. Take a walk before dinner. You will not only increase the number of steps you take that day but your appetite will be lowered by walking before dinner.


Finally, try to drink at least eight, 8 ounce glasses of water per day once you try to cut back. You will do this by drinking one liter of water at work and taking another liter. If you don't like plain water, it is okay to substitute unsweetened iced tea, lemonade, or sugar-free lemonade.


Six pounds can be lost in a week. Try to change your diet drastically, walk more, and drink plenty of water. It's not an age you'll limit yourself to the current plan, it's just every week. And you'll be ready to lose 6 pounds in time.
